PITCH Finalists: Three startups battle to be the best on the PITCH stage

February 23, 2016 by Anna O'Hare

There was stiff competition on the SURGE PITCH stage today, as startups competed to be named the best in our pitching competition.

With the semi-finals now complete, we’ve whittled it down to the top three startups who will compete on the centre stage in the grand final tomorrow.

Our judges will make the final call on the best pitch. The panel includes Flipkart’s Sachin Bansal, 500 Startup’s Dave McClure, FuturePerfect Ventures’s Jalak Jobanputra and Google’s Sunil Rao.

Prizes up for grabs

The startup that takes first place in the PITCH competition will take home $100,000 worth of free credits from Google, to be used across all Google Cloud Platform products. Runners up will receive $20,000 in credits. All finalists get access to technical resources for Google Cloud and SMEs for digital marketing.

It all began with 40 startups. It will end with just one.

Drop by Centre stage tomorrow from 2.50pm to watch the PITCH final. Each of the three finalists will give a four-minute pitch followed by a one-minute Q&A with our panel of judges. We’ll name the winner at 4pm.

Here are our three finalists:
