Ambarish Mitra – Co-Founder & CEO – BlipparBack in 2008, Ambarish and friend Omar Tayeb made a joke about seeing Elizabeth II come to life on a British £20 note. That joke ultimately turned into Blippar – now valued at $1.5 billion. Blippar is an augmented-reality advertising company which allows people unlock digital experiences from the physical world. They’ve partnered with Condé Nast, TIME, Coca-Cola to create immersive advertising experiences.
Amar Goel – Founder & CEO – Komli MediaAmar is the founder of Komli Media. Established in 2006, Komli Media has received $97 million in funding and is considered one of APAC’s leading media tech companies. Amar is also the founder and chairman of PubMatic, a marketing platform for publishers which has received $63 million in funding.
Sachin Bansal – Co-Founder & CEO – FlipkartIn 2011, the sole Indian attendee at our Dublin event Web Summit was Sachin Bansal – co-founder and CEO of then little-known Flipkart. He suggested – over Twitter – that we hold a conference in Bengaluru. By last year the number of Indian attendees at Web Summit had grown from a single person, Sachin, to over 300. Flipkart is an online store selling over 20 million products with 26 million registered users, currently valued at $3.2 billion.
Greg Moran – Co-Founder & CEO – ZoomcarGreg is CEO of car rental service Zoomcar, a Bengaluru-based startup which has raised over $22 million in funding. Founded just two years ago, Zoomcar are now in six Indian cities – Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai – and run a fleet of 1,600 cars.
Bipin Singh – Founder & CEO – MobiKwikBipin founded MobiKwik in 2009, a company he hopes will soon emerge as India’s largest mobile payments company. MobiKwik specialise in cashless payments, and have partnered with 10,000 retail outlets in 600 towns and 5,000 Indian villages. Explaining the benefits of the service, Bipin says: “Rural Indians no longer have to wait for banks to reach them, to open an account or to transact.”
Sahil Barua – CEO & Co-Founder – DelhiverySahil co-founded Delhivery in 2011, having previously worked as a consultant at Bain & Company. Delhivery is a logistics startup which recently announced a major partnership with Zomato. Based in Gurgaon, Delhivery is currently valued at nearly $400 million.
