Coming to SURGE? Now apply to PITCH.

Last week was a big week here at SURGE HQ, what with our official launch in Bengaluru. And we’re showing no signs of slowing down.

Today’s big news? PITCH – our startup competition.

PITCH is the startup pitching competition at SURGE. Forty startups will take to the pitching stage to compete against one another for the title of winner of PITCH at SURGE.

They’ll be joining the ranks of previous winners including Connecterra, Bizimply, Ambi Labs, Blockcypher, re:3d, Basestone, Codacy and AirHelp.

Startups have seven minutes each on stage: four minutes to pitch their idea followed by a three-minute Q&A from our judging panel. They’ll pitch in groups of eight for the first round with just eight proceeding to the semi-finals. Three will then fight it out in the final.

It’s a fast-moving, competitive stage but also a fantastic opportunity to gain feedback and exposure for your company.

Think your startup has what it takes? If your startup has raised less than $3 million, has not had a discernible change in business model in the previous three years and is coming to SURGE, then you’re eligible to apply. You can do so here.

Battle it out against the best SURGE startups. Enter PITCH.
