Need to know: SURGE Registration information

To register for SURGE you must download the SURGEConf app.

With less than two weeks until SURGE, the anticipation is building for what will be India’s largest startup conference. Here’s all the registration info you need to know.


We strongly advise that you complete your registration as early as possible to avoid the queues that will inevitably start forming on Tuesday morning. Here are pre-registration times & venue for General Attendees, ALPHA, START, Investors, Partners, Media, Premium and Platinum.

Pre-registration will run concurrently with the opening night party for all attendees, at the Manpho Convention Centre.

You will need to have the SURGEConf app downloaded before being able to register for the event.

Registration During the Event

From Tuesday February 23, the registration point will be at the Legacy Building entrance at the Manpho Convention Centre. Event registration is open to all attendees at the following times:  

How Do I Use the App to Register?

To register for SURGE you must download the SURGEConf app.

Download the app by simply searching for “SURGEConf” on the Google play store or the app store.

Bring your phone and app along to registration with your photo ID. You will also need your ticket reference which can be found on your app.


Checklist for Registration

  • Valid Photo ID
  • Ticket Reference Code

Please remember that credit cards are not accepted as a form of ID. Acceptable forms of photo ID include: passport, drivers licence and PAN card.
Everyone entering the venue must have a valid ticket, appropriate accreditation or pass before they can enter the conference.
